For generations, this river valley has served as a vital destination for the harvesting of food and medicine. As the only treaty to include a medicine chest, which is interpreted as universal healthcare, the peoples of Treaty 6 began a proud tradition of community-centric medicine and care that we are honoured to be a small part of.
